Techical Aid for the Disabled provides assistive devices for members of the community to assist them with maintaining and managing their daily activities, enhancing their quality of life and community participation. This includes modifcations made to bicycles to assist a person who may have poor balance, trunk control or a high level of anxiety when riding a bicycle.

Modifications to bikes are made to specifications detailed by staff from TADNSW’s Custom-Designed Aids Service at a direct assessment, which is usually done at a pre-booked clinic. This is the only basis on which TADNSW modifies bikes.
